Ahoy!

I'm not very good with introductions, but how is everyone? I was browsing for some tutorials for my friend when I came about this forum from a link on spoongraphic's blog/site. Graphic Design and photography are two of my main interests! I'm more looking into photography, but mostly my current projects have to do with graphic design when I can, encorporating some photography as well.

I reside in Massachusetts, and just work a part-time job to get some money for whatever. Nothing really related to any type of arts at all. I'm only 17, still working out the current years and career. Not really much to say about myself besides I'm a very positive kid.

Currently in a trade highschool for Commercial Art & Design, or Design & Visual Communications. I feel like im getting nowhere, as I can't really pursue what I would like to in this shop. Our options are very limited, we have to stick with what the teachers want to give us and the new 'digital-media lab' that we have is just a load of nothing as the teacher is fairly new to it. Bogus iMovie projects that are just like power point slideshows and I think it just stands to waste my time. =(

I will probably just mostly lurk and maybe post once in awhile. Just looking to further better myself and learn a lot more. I also like to go on a lot about some things and type wayy to much. Ha. Commas are a commonplace in my paragraphs, I think I overuse them.

Introductions have always just been awkward for me. Feel like I put to much, or too little. Looking forward to posting some more!

i am a photographer as well. i find that on a day to day basis design is more consistently lucrative than fine art. but you just have to pursue what is most natural to you
