Selamat! Welcome to the forums!

Where in Indonesia are you from? I spent 2 months backpacking there last year. One in Aceh, Sumatra and another month on Flores, Nusa Tenggara. Beautiful country and very nice welcoming people! It was during the whole Danish cartoon hysteria and me being Danish, everyone (including the Danish foreign ministry) advised me to stay away from Indonesia and especially Aceh as it's the most strict Muslim region. Ironically I was invited to celebrate Mohammad's birthday on the beach there with all the locals and was given all the free food I could eat. I told them I was Danish and they said that it wasn't my fault about the cartoons and that they didn't really care about it. It's crazy how much the media blows things out of proportion. I'm more scared walking around London after dark than I ever was in Indonesia or any other place in South East Asia. Anyways, sorry for the novel, enjoy your stay!

i'm 19 years old and moslem, i come from Malang, just small city in East Java but now i currently based in Bali for some works.
do you ever been in Malang?? hehehe if you plan to visit Indonesia again you should try go to Malang and you be able to meet me

No sorry, haven't been to Java at all. I was in Bali though. I didn't like the Kuta area. Too many tourists and drunk surferdudes. East Bali is nice though and a lot quieter. Damn, would love to go back to Indonesia. They wouldn't be looking for any Web Designers around Bali?

I could hide from immigration in your place?
