Default What are you working on?

A nice, nonformal thread where we can discuss what we are working on at the moment. I was thinking design but if you're brewing a nice hot cup of tea then don't hesitate to tell us (and maybe throw in a couple of pictures)

At the moment, I'm juggling redoing the layout for a forum I'm running, changing some details on my blog! - and I'm making a website/flash-promobanner for a fictional record company - oh and I'm supposed to do some simple promotional posters and "business-cards" for a music festival that they needed in a hurry because they were going over the pond to promote, bluegh!! I'm thinking of brewing a cup of nice blue hawaii tea too, its yum!

I'm working on a website for a photographer ( www.rawfoto.dk ) and just got a new project, I'm going to start on soon. Not making any tea though, it's not something I like: p

I'm also working on a site and business card for a Photographer/Photojournalist. Site is nearly done, I'm just waiting for the guy to pick the rest of the photos he wants on the site.

I'm also working on my own portfolio, but I've been working on that for about 6 months I think, just trying out a lot of different layouts and not liking them 2 days later. It's bloody hard designing for yourself, but I think I'm nearly there.

Additionally I just landed a really cool project that I can't wait to get started on. It's for a Fashion buyer and jewellery designer who goes to China, Japan, India and various other places to buy accessories and clothing for certain shops. She's always being asked where she gets the stuff so she decided now to set up an online shop where she's gonna sell it. I have to do the web design and identity/branding and a developer will do the back end. I'm really interested in Fashion so I think this project will be really interesting (and lucrative, which is of course a plus ).

Oh and I'm brewing a nice cup of Columbian fair trade coffee, yum

I've got my day job, making posters and print ads for national touring bands at my venue. I'm making banners and business cards for a local realtor. then there's the long list of personal projects for my new house: vintage-looking herb profile 5x7's, silkscreening the top of my office desk, framing my printed work, finishing up my self-portrait, and designing an identity for my design work (my username here used to be Stereopattern).

there's always shit goin on...
isn't that always how it is?

That's a tricky one for sure! I've been working on my own portifolio for a long time, but I'm not just satisfied with the results.

A possible re-design of a current clients site. Create a portfolio, record my solo album finally, some album promotional material for a bands new release and a part time school course so far.

New project, web design exam, three weeks (well, four because of easter) to create a webpage for a real or fictional client. Going to do a site for a friend of mine who's in her bachelor year, a portfolio site. Don't think she's gonna use it, but we had to drop our original client, so it's really just to have a name and something to fill the page with :P

Otherwise, Im working on being more creative other than schoolwork. 'Tis not easy.
