lol. i think there are some free alternatives for illustrator, i'll have a look at some point. they'll point you int he right direction using vector.

Interesting topic. I am in school in the southeast right now but would love to move to southern California once I graduate. My dream is to work for the music industry designing album covers and perhaps websites, t-shirts, posters, etc. As for a more specific location, anything will do as long as I have a nice comfy chair, a decent sized desk with room for a printer, scanner, tablet, and computer, and it must be a place where I am able to concentrate on my work. I have a MacBook Pro right now but perhaps a desktop would be nice or maybe just an external monitor for my laptop would suffice.
