Default Adsense for photoshop tutorials

What do you guys think about earning with adsense on a photoshop related site? Is it worth it? From personal experience I can tell you that from 5-7 clicks you can get from 0.10$ to 1.20$. Yeah, 7 clicks at the price of 0.10$ O_o. That's sick. Do you have strategy on targeting specific photoshop keywords or not? I saw that Adobe Training is paid better ( checked with niche inspector ).

Also I'd like to ask if it's a good idea to let the content area ad-free or not?

Thanks in advance for answering.

I think its fine, but I would not over do it. I prefer to make money off of sponsors advertising on my blog. Adsense usually is good to pay for hosting and any other costs, but unless you ads are really well placed and targeted and you have a ton of traffic you wont make crazy money. Plus you lose visitors when they click the ads usually.

If you want ads in the content area either put them above the very first post or at the end. I have one link unit at the top of my site and one big image ad in my sidebar. Then I have a store section with links to affiliate products and spots for banners.

Thanks for all the advice. I noted the important stuff in my Blog Notebook . I'll try this "affiliate" stuff when I get a bit more traffic and after I get a .com domain for my blog .

It all depends. If you maybe had tutorials going in to secrets of how to do some sick advanced photoshop stuff that everyone wanted to know how to do. You might make a decent amount of money. But if it's just like glowing text I doubt it.

There's a 17 year old girl who used adsense along side her "Myspace Layouts" site and she's a millionaire now.

Default Adsense

I use adsense on aiburn.com. I placed it at the end of posts. I have 0 clicks so far.

I haven't check my affiliate Sponsors yet. I'm not expecting much yet. I've only been at this a couple of months. I think it will take a while longer before I start to make money at it. The most money I've made is leveraging my blog to get paid guest posting gigs. I've also gotten a couple of web design leads so far, which is cool because I don't promote my services yet on the site.
