Wikipedia will always be a good resource for BASIC information.
I would check out Courtneytuttle.com .... that site puts SEO into action and they are doing some case studies to show how they use SEO to make money.

Yep those are some good ones. I don't know what system you are all using, but for wordpress users, get the SEO plugin. I can't remember the name of it - if anyone remember a link would be nice.

The best place to start learning SEO is to go over to SEOmoz and download a free copy of their Beginners Guide to SEO - there are various formats for download.

what i would like to prefer is Wikipedia and one more thing u cant be a expert of SEO by getting information only ...it needs some extra ordinary practice and a proper training from a profesional .....
