I have Photoshop at home and love it - and I'm an artist at heart - am majoring in Visual Fine Arts at local community college (I know - laughable). I have a sense that my experience will not be enough - judging by the job descriptions out there. But, I love it and am willing to learn whatever I need to. What do you think?

im definitely not the guy to ask about this. but ill voice my opinion anyway.
you seem to be dedicated. #1 step. you seem to have a passion for this. and you are trying your best to learn everything you need to know in order to succeed in this field. and if you are actually a natural born artist at heart, then im sure you have the other main ingredient. skill. im sure you will be fine and if you have a decent relationship with you colleagues then you should successfully be given a chance to prove yourself. good luck. hope everything works out for you
