My computer looks for, downloads and installs updates everyday in my computer because that's the way i was told to have my computer. However, i would really like to know if that's really necessary. I mean, why does the computer have to download updates all the time? I feel like my hard drive memory is going to be full of Windows updates only. Will this affect my computer in the future? Will i have to buy more memory because of these updates someday?

necessary? for the most part no. you could get by with just updating once a month. turn auto update off and due a manual update once a month. but you should keep it the way it is. hackers, spammers, glitchers, viruses, trojans, adware, spyware, malware, and all sorts of other things are beeing updated and becoming more sophisticated everyday. and windows and other programs are too. these updates are protecting your computer to make it last longer. and as for memory. it just gets replaced. say one update is 10mb. then the next day you get an update. most likely its the same size. and it deleted the original update and replaces it with the new one. no new memory used. although updates can be different sizes. most likely youll only use up another 3 mb. im not sure if all this affects your computer in the future.

Mine has updates too everyday, I set it that way. If you're bothered about it, try to change the settings so it's not an everyday update. But try to update it once in a while. I think that it won't really affect your computer in the future cause from my experience, there's none. I had that everyday updates too but I haven't experienced anything that have troubled me already, you don't have to worry too much.

You do not need to update every day. Just do updates one time in a month. Updates are necessory but not frequently.

The daily updates are pretty annoying. Especially when it wants to restart windows. I never thought of changing settings to once a month. I think I'll try it. good advice
