Default Mac OS X Leopard

If you have a Mac, have you upgraded to Leopard?

I haven't yet but I've heard tons of great stuff about it, so there's only a matter of time before I buy it.

I'm still on Tiger. I've been wanting to upgrade but I've heard a few stories of data loss during the switch. I'm going to wait a couple months for a more stable upgrade process.

Yeah I'm still running on Tiger too. All those new features and the new interface is amazing. I'll probably get it for my birthday.

Hello,

I have to say I got the new imac that came with leopard and I just have nothing but good thing to say about leopard. Lets say you get it now. Its nothing to worry about because Apple is coming out with a big update which will make the OS more stable than it is. The update should come anytime now.

I've been waiting because I've heard there are still some problems with the new cat and CS3, which I am really dependant on. But boy does it look nifty!

I have. It's really nice. I didn't really like the 3D dock to much so I switched it back to do the 2D. But yeah my favorite features have to be, stacks and spaces.

@ alyCe: I have had no problems whatsoever with CS3

I bough my wife a Macbook a couple of months ago - very sharp machine in terms of hardware. Coming from a Windows & Linux background, though, the UI seems funny & weird. Takes some getting used to. Not entirely stable, either. Lots of good stuff on it, though.

I"m still running Tiger, although I have been playing with the idea of getting Leopard. I have tried it and loving it just don't know if I want to pay for it yet (just being cheap).

I hesitantly switched to Leopard after researching all the issues posted everywhere on the net.

Everything runs faster and more efficiently on Leopard, most notably Safari.

CS3 is a little unstable (crashing occasionally) and I believe Adobe are releasing a patch for Leopard anytime now. The biggest problem has been Acrobat - rarely functions properly and very slow.

I just bought a Macbook with Leopard OS and tried to install CS2 in it. Doesn't work! And when I try opening Photoshop, that dang Adobe Space Monkey appears. GAH. >(
