Hey, i'm doing my FMP at the moment and desperately trying to think of ideas for it. I've decided to do something about ethics in graphic design, and thought about doing a kind of ironic handbook entitled "the 5 stages of losing your soul" (or something similar) pointing out exactly what not to do as a professional designer.
I was just wondering if you had any suggestions on what the 5 most immoral things you could do as a graphic designer might be? (aside from those mentioned in milton glaser's road to hell) |

You should def get this book:
How To Be a Graphic Designer Without Losing Your Soul I think one of the topics they mention is working for a company that does something like sell cigarettes. In other words taking on jobs for clients that you do not agree with on a moral standpoint. Another area could be about becoming a more eco friendly designer, where you would try to use recycled papers and less specialty printing etc. |

I lost my soul long ago, and I'm still a student =/
Good luck on the project, it's a down-and-dirty, dog-eat-dog world we designers live in, you'll be shure to find the worst "but boss, comis sans is the de..." "I said, it looks quirky and fun, use it!" "but... I ref..." "Do it" -1 soul |
