I'm attempting to recreate this logo for a friend, but I'm not familiar with how to create font effects in Illustrator. I'm familiar with Blending Options in Photoshop that seams to be an easy way to change the appearance of text, but is there something similar in Illustrator? This is obviously for a logo so I should be making it in Illustrator right?
Thanks in advance for your help. |

you could add the highlights manually, or recomend to your friend that it'll probably look better with a solid color

Best thing you can do is search some tutorial sites and see if you can find any similar effects showcased in tutorials. Google Illustrator tutorials. it possible to create something like that.
