I recently found this: http://fontstruct.fontshop.com where you can make your own fonts or download others'. You can always go to http://www.dafont.com for a huge archive of different styles of fonts.
--- Edit I like Century Gothic for titles |

could you tell us more about the book... i think that is the most important factor to consider, what are you trying to convey?

Yep. It's impossible to say that "this is a good font for a book-cover". If you choose a "good font for a book-cover" then you'll get a nice book-cover, but designing a book-cover is pointless if you don't manage to convey what the book is about. Helvetica may be a good font for, say a Tom Clancey book, but it wouldn't work on The Lord of the Rings.

I just quickly went through the book genres and would say that Century Gothic works for most except Sci-Fi.
